Helloween - Salvation

88년 카이한센이 탈퇴하고
94년 미하일 키스케가 무슨 의미인지 모를 앨범을 남기고 역사의 저편으로 사라졌을때
무척이나 많은 사람들이 안타까워 했었다.

사실 헬로윈은 그 이후로도 자신들의 길을 걸어오고 있긴 하지만
그 이후로도 여러번 멤버가 교체되었고, 방황하는 모습들을 보여주었다.

게다가 사실 멜스메는 더 이상 발전할 여지를 남겨놓지 않았다고 까지 평하는
절대 명반 Keeper of the Seven Keys part1 & part2.
그 큰 그림자가 드리워져 있었음은 부인할 수 없는 사실.

물론 그 이후로도 좋은 곡들은 많았다.
그럼에도 그 이후의 곡들 중에서는
내가 유일하게 좋아하는 것이 Salvation.
(물론 다른 곡들도 곧잘 듣긴 하지만...)

사실 제대로 알기 전까지는 이 곡이 이 시절의 곡인지도 잘 몰랐었고,
그저 좋길래 옛날에 나왔던 곡인줄 알았다는 추억이... ;;

좀 우울할때 들으면 힘이 난다고나 할까...
요즘 간절하게 느껴지는 곡이라서 한번 가져와 봤다.
가사가 어렵지 않으니 의미를 음미하면서 들어보는것도 좋겠다.
